We are a team of clinicians including doctors, dieticians and dermal aestheticians focused on applying up-to-date evidence-based medicine for good health and wellbeing. Family Medicine and Clinical Care

Colds and flus, ear problems, allergies, rashes, digestive problems, urinary tract infections etc.; Referrals to specialists; Injury care and physiotherapy referral; Management for illnesses such as hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes mellitus, asthma, COPD, etc.

Women & Children's Health

Pap smears, mental and sexual health support, contraception management like the insertion of Implanon and IUDs (mirena, kyleena, copper T, copper pearls ballerine etc); general healthcare during pregnancy; general healthcare care for children; Dr Cardoso also has a strong network of paediatric specialists she makes referrals to.

Preventative Care

Prostate cancer checks; Colorectal cancer screening; Pap smears for cervical cancer; breast examination and planning of mammography / ultrasounds for breast cancer; Melanoma screening and mole mapping using the help of Artificial Intelligence and German dermatology software FotoFinder.

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Treatment of Anxiety, depression, panic; We often start treatment programs and work closely with psychologists and psychiatrists in the city bowl.

Dermatology & Mole Clinic

Throughout my career I have combined my passion for preventative medicine, dermatology, and healthy ageing.

She gained extensive experience working in some of Cape Town's busiest emergency units and practising family medicine at Doctors Rooms on Kloof with Dr. Hans Woermann.

She also expanded her expertise into aesthetic medicine through her work at Dr. Nerina Wilkinson, plastic surgeon.

Then in 2020, Dr. Cardoso took over the oldest GP practice in Cape Town, as well as the first Fotofinder Mole Mapping Clinic in the city, formerly operated by Dr. Jens Pieper.

Here at her beautiful Kloof Nek pactice she provides modern medical care that integrates these specialities in a commitment to comprehensive and holistic healthcare.
